The Abyss Chocolate Brownies


  • 1 C canola oil
  • 2 oz The Abyss
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 Tbs vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C all purpose flour
  • 1 C cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Separately combine oil, The Abyss, sugar and vanilla. Whisk in one egg at a time to the wet ingredients and then combine all of the ingredients together to create the batter. Pour batter into lightly greased 9″x9″ baking dish. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the middle is fully cooked. Enjoy with a snifter of The Abyss and some vanilla bean ice cream!
