Steamed Manila Clams


  • 1 lb Manila Clams
  • 6 oz Chainbreaker White IPA
  • 1 Tbs fresh garlic
  • 3 Tbs real butter
  • 1/2 small white onion, chopped
  • 1/3 C parmesan cheese, shredded
  • Pinch of Kosher salt
  • Pinch of black pepper


Over high heat, saute garlic and onions in butter for one minute. Add beer, salt, pepper and clams. Continue to saute for until clams have opened completely (about 5 minutes)

Add cheese and serve with toasted bread, melted butter, a few lemon wedges & a pint of Chainbreaker White IPA
