Grilled Drunken Chicken with Hoisin Sauce
- 1 C hoisin sauce
- 1/2 C fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1 C sesame oil
- Zest of 3 limes
- 2 Tbs fresh ginger, grated
- 2 lbs chicken (breasts or thighs and legs)
- 4 Tbs lime juice
- 2 Tbs soy sauce
- 2 Tbs garlic, chopped
- 4 Tbs fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 bottle Zarabanda
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and chill.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and marinate overnight.
Grill chicken on the BBQ until almost fully cooked, brushing with the sauce. Turn chicken frequently to prevent burning. Serve with your favorite greens and a tall glass of Zarabanda!
