Barley Wine Sloppy Joes
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, medium dice
- 1 red bell pepper, medium dice
- 1 tsp light olive oil
- 1 Tbs garlic, minced
- 3/4 C ketchup
- 2 oz Mirror Mirror Barley Wine
- 2 Tbs Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbs brown sugar
Sweat onions and peppers in oil in a medium pot over medium heat. Add garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute. Add all remaining ingredients except the beef and bring to a simmer and cover.
Cook ground beef in a separate pan until browned and heated through. Combine sauce with beef and season with salt and pepper. Serve on your bread or bun of choice and a snifter of Mirror Mirror Barley Wine. Cheers!
