Beer Brunch: It’s What’s For DinnerView All Events
Come join us at Beer Study Durham for the Official Deschutes Brewery Durham Launch Party! We’re welcoming Deschutes to our fine state of North Carolina with a night full of beer, food, music, games, charity, and prizes! Come meet Caroline, Chelsea, and Jeremy from the brewery and help us prove that, yes, you can have brunch for dinner.
BEER: Featuring 10 beers on tap, including Fresh Squeezed IPA, new year-round Pacific Wonderland Lager, Black Butte Porter, Hop Slice Summer Ale, Swivelhead Red IPA, Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Obsidian Stout on Nitro, and new specialty brew American Wheat. Looking for Untappd bragging rights? We’ll also tap some Reserve kegs available nowhere else in Durham. Along with awesome beers, we will be serving beer brunch cocktails, including Black Butte Mocha Porter and Obsidian Stout Amuse (yes, they’re as good as they sound). Check them out HERE!
FOOD: We will also be joined by Al from Al’s Burger Shack who will be making some featured items from the Deschutes Beer Brunch Menu along with a specialty #beerbrunch burger. Menu items will be posted soon and will be available for purchase at Beer Study Durham during the event. Available while supplies last.
MUSIC: We welcome back Ittai Korman Quartet to Beer Study with his neo soul with jazz and funk influences. They will be playing two sets the first beginning at 7pm and the second beginning around 8pm. We will have raffles in between each set which leads me to the next topic…….
GIVING BACK: We are working with the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina and will be raffling off some awesome Deschutes swag along with some fun outdoorsy prizes from Great Outdoor Provision in Chapel Hill. Entry fee for raffles is TBA and all raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina. Deschutes Brewery, Long Beverage, and Beer Study Durham will each match what was raised from the raffle for donation to the organization as well. Those pints and brunch specials will taste even better knowing you’re feeding hungry families in North Carolina!
GAMES: We are also hoping to design our very our Chutes and Ladders boards for “Deschutes and Ladders” featuring some beautiful nature spots in North Carolina and Deschutes’ home of Oregon that you guys can play to experience the natural wonderlands both our homes share!
More details to come, but in the meantime, call your friends and tell them that on Wednesday, June 21st you’re having brunch for dinner at Beer Study Durham!”
