Portland Bike Inspired Beer

Today, we’re especially excited to announce our third custom beer brewed for Oregon Manifest’s Bike Design Project, a Cascadian Dark Ale. Why? Because it’s the one we brewed to pair with INDUSTRY x Ti Cycles’ yet-to-be-revealed bike design and our wonderful city that inspired it.

Assistant Bend Pub brewer, Matt Hahn, had this to say about the inspiration behind the beer, “Located in the quirky epicenter of beer and bikes, we had to brew a Cascadian Dark Ale. It’s a style other parts of the country call a Black IPA or American Black Ale, but Portlanders firmly plant their stake in the ground as the founders of this style and demanded a style name all their own. This isn’t your typical Cascadian Dark Ale, either. Not that there’s anything typical about any CDA, but this one is brewed with cedar, comes in at an everyday drinking 5% ABV, and packs a big NW hop punch at 60 IBUs.”

ABV: 5.0% | IBUs: 60
Hops: Nugget, Amarillo, Centennial, CTZ
Malt: 2 Row, Oats, Crystal 135/165, Chocolate, Choc Wheat, Midnight Wheat
Other: Cedar

Experience this beer for yourself and see the bike that inspired it at our Portland reveal party on July 25!
