After twelve years of brewing our special Reserve Series beers, we know they get better over time.  It’s why these brews receive a “best after” date on the label.  They are the perfect beers for craft beer lovers to stow away!

 

The Stoic 2015 is a great example of how these dynamic beers change in the bottle.  Previously subtle aromas and flavors capture your attention, while other assertive notes recede to the background, much like a song where the musicians take turns in the spotlight.

Our brewers tasted The Stoic in December of 2016.  They reported The Stoic sang a beautiful medley of pears, spiced apple, fruit, wine, “good wood”, very light tartness, some alcohol, and aged flavors of leather and pineapple.  We can’t wait to see what happens in another twelve months.  Yummm….
