BBQ Baby Back Ribs

2 racks of baby back ribs
1 yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
3oz butter
5oz Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs Tabasco
1 Tbs granulated garlic
6 C chili sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
2oz lemon juice
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1.5 C honey
1/2 C molasses
1 tsp Salt
2 12oz bottles Black Butte Porter plus extra for braising


Rough chop the onions and garlic and sautee in butter until slightly browned. Mix the onions and garlic with all the ingredients except the Black Butte Porter and mix in a blender or food processor. Put the mixed ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil then turn down to a low simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in the 2 bottles of Black Butte Porter.

Rub ribs liberally with salt and pepper. Place ribs in a roasting pan and cover ribs with a mixture of equal parts BBQ sauce and Black Butte Porter. Cover the roasting pan and cook in the oven at 350 degrees for about 3 hours or until tender.
