At Deschutes, lucky is an understatement. We get to live here. Here being Central Oregon’s High Desert. Breathtaking peaks, crystal streams, sheer cliffs, mountain lakes engulf us. Heck, we live in a coffee table book. Nature gets us up in the morning. And inspires everything, especially our beers. Obsidian Stout, for starters, owes its name to the area’s ebony, lunar-like stone outcroppings. Mirror Pond is a reflection of Bend’s signature urban oasis. The brewery itself is dedicated to the river that snakes down the Cascades past our brew kettles.
In fact, a person could carve out a damn fine adventure just connecting the dots between the landmarks tied to our beers. Get started charting your course, fellow explorer, with our pinned map below.
