This position will be responsible for the configuration, administration, and maintenance of various systems related to Information Technology; including Network and Server infrastructure, Hyper-V, Security, and Software Applications. REQUIRMENTS: Minimum 5 years experience administering a Windows server environment; experience building, expanding, maintaining and supporting an enterprise systems infrastructure; experience administering Microsoft Hyper-V environment, including clustering with a SAN and SCVMM; experience administering networks—routing, subnets, tcp/ip, vpn, vlan, voip and wireless; experience with IT security policy design and enforcement; strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting and organizational skills; a minimum 2 years of college and/or specialized technical training with courses applicable to duties. Our brewers are responsible for the brewing process from prep of the raw materials through the fermentation process. The successful candidate will have a passion for quality beer, attention to detail and be highly motivated to contribute to the continuing success of Deschutes Brewery. Continuous Improvement Manager:
This position is responsible for leading Deschutes Brewery’s continuous improvement initiatives company-wide. The person will provide leadership, planning, technical direction, communication and coaching skills to ensure safe production of high quality products to meet customer needs in the most cost effective manner. Duties will include implementation of a management system based on lean manufacturing principles, development of improvement plans based on data collection and KPI’s and development of a “right the 1st time” performance plan to ensure product quality. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in the field of manufacturing, engineering or food processing or equivalent work experience; expertise in continuous improvement principles and/or formal Lean or Six Sigma training; ability to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact; systematic problem solver that implements solutions to solve root cause problems. PREFERRED: Strong business and technical skills in brewing, packaging and logistics. Please include your salary expectation with your resume.
Packaging Operator, Summer Seasonal:
Looking for a team player who is self motivated, a hard worker, and has mechanical skills. This position will be approximately 6 months and will be considered seasonal temporary. If our production schedule remains at a high level into Fall/Winter, we could be hiring for additional full time, year round positions and the seasonal people will be considered. $12.50/hr.
Our Maintenance department is hiring two LME Maintenance Techs--one for swingshift and one for graveyard. The primary responsibilities will be maintaining production packaging and brewing equipment with work on energy sources, minor emergency fabrication and maintenance electrical. Both shifts will include weekend work with mid week days off. REQUIREMENTS: LME license, a minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, PLC programming experience, light fabrication and well rounded mechanical skills. You must have a positive attitude and the ability to work unsupervised, good communication skills and knowledge of industry safe work practices. This position requires routine lifting up to 50 pounds. $21/hour
