The Pacific Northwest Brew Cup, the premier beer festival on Oregon's North Coast, will be held September 28-30 at Astoria's historic Train Depot, just east of the Columbia River Maritime Museum. This Oktoberfest-style beer festival features beer from Deschutes Brewery & other local breweries, live music, food, and family games.

Over 36 distinct, brewer-selected, Northwest beers will be on tap for this annual three-day event that draws approximately 2,000 beer lovers from all over the Lower Columbia and up and down the coast. Entrance to the festival is free. Festival attendees can purchase a souvenir glass mug, the official tasting glass for the weekend, and may purchase individual tastes of the various beers. The event is scheduled to run from noon to 10pm on Friday, 11am to 10pm on Saturday, and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

Beer and wine are not the only things you'll find at the Brew Cup. This is a family-friendly event with kids' activities, as well as live entertainment. This year's line-up includes a variety of Northwest music as eclectic as the beer.

The Brew Cup has grown, in both attendance and the number of breweries featured, each year since it started over 10 years ago and this year will be no exception. "We expect this year's crowd to be even larger with multiple cruise ships in port and the Great Columbia Crossing occurring that Sunday," states ADHDA President Dulcye Taylor.

We hope to see you there!
