Deschutes Brewery's Fresh Hop Celebration returns Saturday, October 19th, 2013 with a wide selection of fresh hop ales including Hop Trip and beers from a handful of Colorado breweries. The celebration will take place at Providence Tavern this year and will include live music, tastings, information on home brewing, people's choice awards, activities and more.
Fresh hop beers are special in that they are brewed the same day the hop is picked from the vine. Hops are the small, green flower cones from the hop plant that give beer its flavor and aroma. Fresh hop beers add a juicy citrus-like aroma to the beer. Beer connoisseurs and weekend warriors alike will love these unique, once-a-year brews!
Event Details:
• All Ages Welcome, Must be 21 to Drink
• Admission: $20 online (ticket button above) or $25 at the door. Unlimited tasting and includes commemorative glass!
• Proceeds support the Colorado Water Trust.
