6th Annual Maui Brewers Festival
The 6th Annual Maui Brewers Festival returns to A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion at Maui Arts & Cultural Center (The MACC) on Saturday, May 17 from 2:30 to 7 pm. Presented by The MACC in association with Maui Brewing Co. and Paradise Beverages, Maui’s favorite festival features the specialty and craft brews of dozens of breweries from Hawai‘i and the Mainland, as well as scrumptious pupu samplers from many of Maui’s favorite restaurants and caterers.
Breweries participating in the festival will include some return favorites, such as Deschutes Brewery, from previous years’ festivals, as well as new offerings. The breweries selected to participate in the Festival are invited because of their commitment to making craft beer with an emphasis on quality, flavor and locally-sourced ingredients.
Last year’s Festival included samples of 68 craft beers and almost two dozen food purveyors with both savory and sweet temptations. Entrance to the Festival includes a commemorative glass to use in sampling eight 4-ounce pours of beer. There will be live music for entertainment, as well as prize giveaways.
VIP Happy Hour tickets will be available for $110, which allow early entrance to the grounds at 2:30 pm and access to the Rare Beer Tasting area, featuring many special brews that can’t be purchased in retail stores. The VIP Happy Hour package also includes the official 2014 Maui Brewers Festival T-shirt and parking in the main lot. Brewmasters and representatives will discuss production of these rare craft beers in Yokouchi Pavilion & Courtyard.
General admission tickets, covering the main event 4 pm – 7 pm, are $60 in advance and $70 on event day.
