Packaging Engineer: This position will oversee technical support to Bottling and Racking departments to ensure equipment operation and efficiencies. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food or beverage operation; demonstrated technical knowledge with hands on experience of packaging equipment; ability to make purchasing decisions that include defining specifications and evaluating equipment options; project managment experience; experience with GMP and Lean systems; working knowledge of OSHA standards; strong safety orientation and computer proficiency. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or engineering discipline. Salary DOE. This position will work a shift that overlaps days and swing and will supervise 2nd shift direct reports.
Marketing Field Event Manager: This position will develop and execute a strategic event plan for Bend, our Sales regions and each of our Pubs. Responsibilities will include handling all marketing related sponsorship events, donation requests, managing the Woody program, and executing Deschutes Brewery's marketing objectives for all field events. This position is the key point person for all Deschutes Brewery related event plans. REQUIRED: Minimum 3 years exp. in event planning and execution, college degree in Marketing or a specialized field applicable to the position, proven experience planning own work and the work of others to meet deadlines and expectations to deliver results, solid understanding of how to deliver brand experience and excellent knowledge of craft beer.
Sagebrush Classic, Inc. Executive Director: This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing a 22 year legacy of raising money and awareness for Central Oregon families and children in need through the Sagebrush Classic and Classic Feast, a world class golf tournament, dinner and auction held each year in July. REQUIRED: 5+ years exp. managing events that include a fund raising aspect with proven success in achieving stated goals, execeptional communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, intermediate computer knowledge.
