Beer geeks and proud of it! The Deschutes Brewery crew is out to swap stories and samples of craft beer with fellow geeks in greater Philadelphia. Deschutes Brewery brewer Ryan Wibby will be in the house to share the intricacies of all the beers, like Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Inversion IPA, Obsidian Stout, Armory XPA and the limited collaboration beer Class of ’88 Imperial Smoked Porter. Hop samples from the heart of hop country, clone recipes for Deschutes Brewery beers, and playing a bit of beer trivia for prizes are also part of the evening.

It may be news to some Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery named many of its damn tasty beers after local landmarks around the Central Oregon area where the brewery is based. This beer dinner celebrates those landmarks and more, with a menu that will amaze. Each dish will be paired with beers like Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Chainbreaker White IPA, Inversion IPA, Collage, Chasin’ Freshies Fresh Hop IPA, and Class of ’88 Imperial Smoked Porter. Assistant Brewmaster Ben Kehs will be present to discuss each landmark course. Menu coming soon! Limited seats available.

Brew Moon Fest is an annual indoor harvest-themed festival designed for beer enthusiasts to experience the finest craft, import and micro breweries in an indoor park-like setting. The event is organized by Palmer Place Restaurant and the McCook Athletic Expo (the MAX) with proceeds being donated to charity.

The 3rd Annual Brew Moon Fest will showcase more than 150 craft and import beers for sampling. Live entertainment, food, beer, and Home Brewer pavilions will also be featured. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry experts and talk to master brewers.
