Central Oregon Trail Alliance is looking for volunteers for the 14th annual Spring Fling work event. Meet at 9:00 a.m. to sign waivers and get into a trail crew, then hang out and enjoy breakfast and coffee. We will then carpool to the work sites. This community effort will focus on building the new Visitor Center trail network. COTA will supply tools, direction, and refreshments. Bring your friends and family to help contribute.
Afterwards enjoy lunch, beer, and raffle at Crowsfeet Commons around 2:00pm.
The 6th Annual Maui Brewers Festival returns to A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion at Maui Arts & Cultural Center (The MACC) on Saturday, May 17 from 2:30 to 7 pm. Presented by The MACC in association with Maui Brewing Co. and Paradise Beverages, Maui’s favorite festival features the specialty and craft brews of dozens of breweries from Hawai‘i and the Mainland, as well as scrumptious pupu samplers from many of Maui’s favorite restaurants and caterers.
All proceeds generated from the U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle support the programs of the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF).
MBSEF is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports amateur alpine, cross country, snowboard, and cycling training for junior athletes. Our main objective is to assist junior athletes in achieving their individual athletic, academic, and personal goals.
Tickets are $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door. Proceeds Support the Maverick Club's Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund. There will be live music, tasting and people's choice competition, craft brews from about 50 breweries in Colorado and around the world, including Deschutes Brewery.
