Every October, Bend Oregon hosts the highly anticipated Halloween Cross Crusade & Cyclo-cross festival. This amazing event will include the famous Halloween Cyclocross Crusade, the fourth annual Cross Culture Art Celebration, a cultural celebration showcasing the cyclo-cross lifestyle, and much more.

Two full days of epic racing for all categories on the National Championship course at Deschutes Brewery.

"Beers Made By Walking" is a program that invites brewers to make beer inspired by nature hikes and urban walks. Each walk is different, each beer is a portrait of that landscape. The program happens in multiple cities each year.

Breweries from all over Colorado and Deschutes Brewery from Bend are on hand with their finest brews to take the heat off the chili prepared by Crested Butte locals. In addition to beer & chili tasting, attendees will be able to enjoy live music while taking in the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Crested Butte. The Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce expects to bring well over 1,000 beer enthusiasts to the festival.

The Great American Beer Festival (GABF) is a three-day annual event hosted by the Brewers Association, held in Denver, Colorado, in mid to late September or early October. This year, 2012, the festival runs from October 10th to the 12th. The GABF brings visitors from around the world to sample more than 2,000 different American beers including Deschutes beer from Bend, OR and with it being our 25th year, we've got something special up our sleeves.

Join us at Appaloosa on Tuesday, October 9th as we celebrate the pre Great American Beer Fest in Denver with Deschutes Brewery from Bend, Oregon. Hood River County Chamber of Commerce hosts a beer lover’s dream when fresh-hopped brews from more than two dozen Northwest craft brewers are on tap. The event showcases Hood River County’s own microbreweries as well as some of the best of the Northwest brewers including beer from Deschutes Brewery.

To accompany the brews, Hops Fest showcases:
