The three-time Grammy-winning South African group returns to Bend with its uplifting message of peace, love and harmony. Ladysmith (the founder’s hometown) Black (oxen) Mambazo (Zulu for “axe”) rose to world wide prominence in 1986 singing with Paul Simon on Graceland. Led by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith marries intricate rhythms and harmonies from their native music to the sounds and sentiments of Christian gospel music.

The 10th Annual Bend Brewfest returns Thursday- Saturday August 15-17, 2013 at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

Come on down and enjoy delicious craft beers from numerous breweries both near and far, as well as great food from our local vendors.

Admission is free and children are welcome until 7 p.m. every night. The festival runs from the hours of 3- 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 12 noon-11 p.m. Saturday.

Tasting requires a one time purchase of a 2013 Bend Brewfest mug and beer tokens for $10. Additional tokens are available in $5 packages.
