Beer drinking, beer pouring and beer making experts from Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery and representatives from Spec’s will be on hand to provide some finely balanced discussion of these important issues.

Beer, puppies and bikes – these are a few of our favorite things. Pedal on down for the pub crawl with a purpose – Deschutes Brewery is in town for its Base Camp celebration and tonight we’re raising money for Blue Dog Rescue. We’ll start at The Peddler bike shop, then move onto local favorites Billy’s, Hopfields, and Crown & Anchor.

We’re launching Deschutes Brewery’s visit to Austin to celebrate all things craft beer, Base Camp. We’ll have details on all the week’s happenings, plus quaffing the easy drinking goodness of Mirror Pond Pale Ale, a beer that is a “base camp” of sorts for beer fanatics everywhere.

The folks from Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery know how to tailgate, and they also know you can tailgate with the best of them even when you never go outside. What can beat watching the college football game, while quaffing Deschutes’ damn tasty craft beers to keep you cheering for the home team?

Make a plan before you come down to this month’s First Friday art walk: plan to set up “base camp” at The Friendly Spot. Not only will there be local artisans on site, but Oregon-based beer artisans from Deschutes Brewery will be pouring some brews as part of their “Base Camp for Beer Fanatics” in Texas.

We will be at Billy’s Long Bar on Friday night beginning at 6 PM so come and join us. Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter and Chainbreaker White IPA on tap, plus the brat special of the day will feature one of those brews. Come on out to one of the best craft beer bars in ABQ and hang with the Deschutes crew! Woody will even be in the house!

Hey all you ghosts, ghouls and goblins, it’s time to don your scariest costumes and join Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery for a frighteningly good Halloween party. Party goers can imbibe some Chainbreaker White IPA on draft and bottles of Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Jubelale, while the Dusty Low Band busts out the jams.

Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery is in town for its craft beer celebration, Base Camp Week. What better way to throw a party than by teaming up with local Old Windmill Dairy for some scrumptious beer and cheese pairings?

We’re jubilant about celebrating craft beer like Deschutes Brewery’s most excellent winter seasonal, Jubelale, paired with locally made sausage from Joe S. Sausage.
